Cervical Screening
Wahine aged 25-69

Screen for Cervical Cancer every five years.

An HPV primary screening is a vaginal swab used to detect the HPV and cell changes that can lead to cervical cancer. HPV is very common and will often clear up on its own, but in some cases, it can lead to cervical cancer.

When cervical cancer is detected early, it increases your chance of being able to treat it and live a long, full life with your whānau.

The screening can be done at a clinic, or if you're unable to access a local centre, a mobile screening bus. Use the map below to find one near you.
