Bowel Screening
All whanau aged 60-74

A Faecal Immunochemical Test (FIT), is a test that detects blood in your bowel motion that can often be unseen. This blood can come from precancerous polyps or early stage bowel cancer.

When bowel cancer is detected early, it increases your chance of being able to treat it and live a long, full life with your whānau.

The screening can be done at home, a clinic, or if you're unable to access a local centre, a mobile screening bus. Use the map below to find one near you.
